Eco Ocean benches and bins on Avenida de Samil, Vigo – 2025
In December 2024, a phase of the renovation of Avenida de Samil in Vigo was completed. This transformation has turned the iconic seaside promenade into a more accessible space, with an expanded pavement of up to five metres, where new urban furniture elements have been installed.
A reminder to remain responsible
One of the standout features of this project has been the installation of our MAVERIK ECO OCEAN benches and IBIZA ECO OCEAN bins. Made from marine plastic waste, these elements showcase a unique design with characteristic colours that reflect their sustainable origin.
Beyond their visual impact, these products stand out for their durability and resistance, even in coastal environments like Avenida Samil. No maintenance is required, and they are 100% recyclable, providing a practical and eco-friendly solution.
A firm commitment to sustainability
The installation of this urban furniture not only enhances functionality without compromising aesthetics but also reflects Vigo’s commitment to environmental protection and promotion of the circular economy. Each bench includes a plaque indicating its sustainable origin, raising awareness among citizens about the importance of reusing materials and reducing marine pollution along our coasts.
