We are pleased to introduce our most sustainable bench: the Ecocity Bench.
At Grup Fàbregas, we are taking another step forwards a sustainable future with the launch of our most eco-friendly and responsible bench: the Ecocity Bench, made entirely from recycled plastic sourced through selective waste collection.
Inspired by one of our most classic and iconic models, the MODO CLASSIC BENCH – C106. We have evolved its design into a more minimalist and modern style. The new design features rounded and aesthetic shapes that reflect current trends while maintaining its original essence.
A bench designed for the future
The evolution lies not only in the design but also in its functionality. We have adapted the dimensions of the Ecocity Bench to comply with the accessibility regulations set by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of Spain (Article 26, Order TMA/851/2021), ensuring its usability for everyone without exception.
As for materials, environmental commitment has been the backbone of its transformation:
- Tropical wood slats have been replaced with recycled plastic slats, significantly reducing environmental impact.
- Ductile cast iron legs have been replaced with thermoplastic injected legs made from recycled material, ensuring both durability and sustainability.
Why choose the Ecocity Bench?
- Sustainability: Manufactured entirely with recycled plastic, featuring 5 slats and 3 recycled plastic legs, with no metal reinforces.
- Zero maintenance: No maintenance requires, making it an economical and durable option for any public space.
- Guaranteed accessibility Complies with the latest accessibility, mobility and transportation regulations, providing comfort and usability for all citizens.
The Ecocity Bench: Design, sustainability and accessibility
With this launch, we reaffirm our commitment to offering products that combine functionality, design, and sustainability. The Ecocity Bench is not just an innovative solution for urban environments but also a statement of principles: caring for the planet while creating inclusive and modern spaces.
